Atlas Media Hires New Development VP

NEW YORK, May 20:
Independent non-fiction producer Atlas Media Corporation has appointed Anita
Shah, previously with Lion TV, as its VP of development, effective immediately.

Based in New York, Shah
will report directly to Kaki Kirby, the company’s executive VP of business
development and special projects. Shah joins Atlas from Lion TV, where she
served as the director of development. She has more than ten years of
experience casting, developing and pitching unscripted shows to U.S. cable
networks such as Discovery, Lifetime, Bravo, HGTV and A&E. Shah has also
worked in television for ABC, Granada America and Tiger Aspect Productions. Her
program credits include Sensing Murder, Bought and Sold and Airline
USA
. Previously, Shah was a
reporter and produced shows for MTV Networks and the BBC.
