Atlantyca Tapped as Italian Licensing Agent for Taffy Brands

BOLOGNA, April 1: Atlantyca
Entertainment has been named the exclusive licensing and merchandising agent in
Italy for three of Taffy Entertainment's children's properties: Code Lyoko, Growing Up Creepie and Dive Olly Dive!

Under the agreement,
Atlantyca will secure and manage the licensing and merchandising programs
throughout Italy for each brand and explore opportunities in all key licensing
categories, including toys and games, apparel, accessories, collectibles,
stationery and packaged goods. Atlantyca’s new licensing division, headed by
Elisa Pezzutti, currently manages all of Atlantyca's character and
entertainment properties in Italy, including the children's book property Geronimo
Stilton.

Code Lyoko is a fantasy action-adventure series that follows
the adventures of four "ordinary" students who discover the existence
of a mysterious parallel universe, a virtual world called Lyoko. The students
discover that both Earth and Lyoko are being threatened with destruction by a
super virus that has infected the Super Computer that controls everything. Now
the students, who are joined by Aelita, a virtual being from Lyoko, must lead
double lives as ordinary boarding school students on Earth and action heroes
inside the digital world of Lyoko, where they learn each has special powers. Growing
Up Creepie
is a comedy series that
takes an irreverent look at adolescence through the eyes of Creepie Creecher, a
young girl abandoned as a baby and raised by a family of bugs. Meanwhile, Dive
Olly Dive!
is a preschool-targeted
adventure/discovery series that follows the fun-filled underwater escapades of
Olly and Beth, two young research submarines-in-training.

"Taffy Entertainment
is one of Atlantyca's most valued partners and this is a great opportunity for
both companies to expand our relationship even further," said Pietro
Marietti, the chairman of Atlantyca Entertainment. "Similar to the key
role they will play in the growth of our Geronimo Stilton brand outside of Italy, we look forward to being
an equally integral part of the growth of some of Taffy's key properties in
Italy."

"Atlantyca and their
management team are incredibly creative and innovative, and they have an
impressive track record of success in Italy, making them the ideal partner for
these high-profile brands," added Cynthia Money, the president of
worldwide consumer products and marketing for Taffy Entertainment.
