Astral Bulks Up illico On-Demand Offerings

TORONTO: A range of programming from The Movie Network, HBO Canada, Family Channel and Playhouse Disney is being made available by Astral to Videotron subscribers as part of the illico on Demand service.

Starting today, Videotron subscribers of The Movie Network, HBO Canada, Family Channel and Playhouse Disney can access full seasons of hit series on illico on Demand. Titles include HBO’s Boardwalk Empire, Eastbound and Down, Bored to Death, The Ricky Gervais Show and In Treatment, as well as Showtime series such as Dexter and Californication. A range of movies will also be available, including The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Killers and Cooking with Stella. From Family Channel and Playhouse Disney comes tween series such as Wizards of Waverly Place, The Suite Life on Deck and Phineas and Ferb, along with younger-skewing fare such as Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny and Imagination Movers.
