Asia Pacific Sales for Ovation Studios’ The Art Of

CANNES: FremantleMedia International has secured sales with broadcasters in the Asia Pacific for The Art Of, an original series from Ovation Studios.

The show’s first season, which was produced for U.S. network Ovation, went to Foxtel in Australia, Cineplex in Thailand and Skylife TV in Korea. The title is a weekly half-hour series that profiles three artists who are creating boundary-pushing work in media. Focusing on both the celebrated and the undiscovered, this series explores the creative process behind each featured art form and uncovers how and why these artists do what they do.

The show’s first 13 episodes explore art forms such as graffiti, tattoos, hip-hop, sushi, sneakers, animation, mixology and burlesque, among many others. The program’s new slate focuses additionally on the art of brewing beer and coffee, comics, 3D, the wine country, pop ups, illusion, and roller coasters, among others.
