TEL AVIV: The Canadian network V has ordered a second season of the Armoza Formats game show Upgrade for its fall schedule.

The first season of Upgrade aired on V from February to May, when it scored an average market share of 12 percent, which is three times higher than the channel’s average. Pierre Hebert returns to host the 14 new episodes, and the Canadian furniture chain Leon’s is back as a sponsor. La Presse Tele has already started production on the new season, which airs under the local title Remise a Neuf.

Avi Armoza, the CEO of Armoza Formats, said, "The same team that made Upgrade such a success in Canada is back on board for season two, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Upgrade has become a very successful vehicle for both the network and the show’s sponsor, while continuing to delight and surprise viewers. We look forward to many more seasons upgrading the homes of the good people of Quebec."
