Armoza Sitcom Gets Czech Treatment

TEL AVIV: FTV Prima in the Czech Republic has commissioned a pilot for the sitcom format Life Isn’t Everything from Armoza Formats.

FTV Prima will adapt and produce a local version of the Israeli sitcom, which has aired more than 120 episode over seven seasons. The show follows a middle-aged TV script writer and his friends and family as they navigate life with wit, cynicism and humor. Life Isn’t Everything achieved an average market share of more than 30 percent during its prime-time broadcasts in Israel.

Gordon Lovitt, the program director of FTV Prima, said, "We are very excited to begin working on Life Isn’t Everything. It’s a classic sitcom with dynamic and well-developed characters at its heart. It’s a very human sitcom, one to which all viewers can relate.”

Avi Armoza, the CEO of Armoza Formats, added, "We’re very pleased to work with FTV Prima to develop a local Czech version of Life Isn’t Everything. We are confident that FTV Prima will maintain the same standard of high-quality programming in this adaptation to which both they and Armoza Formats are committed."
