Argonon has upped Amanda Goddard to the role of chief legal and commercial officer, with a seat on the board, as the company looks to scale its operations in the U.K. and internationally.

In her post, reporting to Argonon CEO James Burstall, Goddard will oversee all commercial activity, including expanding its digital and FAST presence and capitalizing on monetization opportunities in its library. Her co-pro and financing experience will also be leveraged by the company’s seven labels.

Burstall said: “Amanda’s relentless commercial drive, combined with her emotional intelligence and warmth, makes her the ideal addition to the Argonon leadership team, adding significant firepower during this exciting growth period for the group. Her expertise across all genres, platforms and territories will be invaluable to both the group and our world-class labels as we build on a very positive start to 2025.”

Goddard added: “I am looking forward to joining the Argonon board and working closely with the group heads, who are extremely entrepreneurial and talented producers, to maximize commercial and financial opportunities across the U.K. and international markets.”

She was previously director of legal and commercial affairs at Argonon, having joined the company from Pact.
