What are some of your top properties for MIPTV?
This year, we are focusing on sports theme animated shorts that are really funny! We have a full 3 seasons of Mustang Mama now: Mustang Mama Foot Fever for the upcoming World Cup, Mustang Mama Diehard Sports Fan for the Commonwealth Games in India and Mustang Mama X3 for extreme sports enthusiasts worldwide. We are also launching Mat Kacau, an animated shorts we co-produced with Astro Ceria. They’re all comedy-packed fillers.

Why will these programs appeal to buyers?
We are confident that our shows will appeal to more buyers at MIPTV because the shows are all about sports and 2010 is a gigantic sporting year. The Winter Olypmics, the Commonwealth Games and the World Cup, all major sporting events organized once every four years, just happen to be held in 2010! This means that the Mustang Mama series are poised to capture the programmers attention when they’re looking for hilarious sports-based shorts!
We are also confident that Mat Kacau, a series we co-produced with Astro Ceria, which is Malaysia’s number one children’s channel, will attract more buyers to it. This series about an overexcited prankster who fails at entertaining and excels at annoying is family-oriented entertainment. Launched in Malaysia in Dec 2009, Mat Kacau has proven to be a very popular character amongst children here.

What are your goals and expectations for MIPTV?
Positivity is coming back with the recovery of the economy. That’s always a good sign that more sales will ensue. As always, our shows will not dent broadcasters’ pockets so we aim to sell a lot at MIPTV.
