America’s Got Talent Winner Signs Image Deal

CHATSWORTH: Image Entertainment has firmed up an exclusive agreement with Terry Fator, who took first place on the second season of America’s Got Talent, to produce and distribute a live-performance show.

The agreement gives Image the exclusive worldwide home video, digital television, non-theatrical and audio rights to the performance, which will be filmed in HD in late February at The Mirage in Las Vegas.

The comic impersonator, along with his cast of seven puppets, combines the art of ventriloquism with celebrity impressions. After winning America’s Got Talent, Fator was signed to a five-year deal to headline The Mirage. He will begin performing in the newly named Terry Fator Theatre beginning February 14.

"We are expecting a very strong consumer response," said Garrett Lee, the senior VP of product development at Image Entertainment. "Terry has proven mass-appeal, and this live performance will be eagerly anticipated by audiences across the country who has become enamored with his unique brand of comedy."
