SEATTLE: All ten episodes of Amazon's Golden Globe-winning original series Transparent will be made available for non-subscribers to watch this Saturday.

The show will be available beginning at 12:01 a.m. EST and ending at 11:59 p.m. PST on Saturday via the Amazon Instant Video app for TVs, connected devices and mobile devices, or online at Amazon.com/Transparent. Amazon is also offering a temporary 25-percent price reduction on Amazon Prime subscriptions, with the price dropping to $72 for new customers who sign up on Saturday. Amazon Prime offers streaming access to a host of content, and gives subscribers free two-day shipping on some 20 million items sold by the online retailer.

Transparent picked up the Golden Globe for best musical or comedy series, and netted a best actor win for Jeffrey Tambor. Amazon has greenlit a second season of Transparent to air later this year.

“We’re incredibly proud of everyone involved in the making of Transparent—the team took a risk and it paid off,” said Jeff Bezos, founder and CEO of Amazon.com. “Big kudos and congrats to Jill, Jeffrey, and all the cast and crew.”
