MIAMI: Maggie Salas-Amaro has been named director of network strategies at América CV Network, where she will oversee the expansion and in-market strategies for CV 48, CV 24, C34 and WJAN-America TeVe channel 41.
Salas-Amaro was previously the director of affiliate relations and development at SBS-owned Mega TV. Prior to this, she was director of programming and network strategy for the Telemundo Network Group.
In November 2009, WJAN-Channel 41 América TeVe and CV Network merged their operations.
