Amanda O Notches Up Sales

TEL AVIV: Dori Media Group’s multiplatform telenovela Amanda O has already been sold to eight countries within two months of its launch. 

Romania, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Paraguay, Uruguay and Armenia have all signed on for the series. The online version of Amanda O was launched in November, and notched up 400,000 unique visitors from Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay in only five weeks after its launch. Audiences in Uruguay and Paraguay are now able to view the series on TV and mobile phones. In Romania and Moldova, Amanda O will be available on TV, Internet and mobile. 

José Escalante, the president and general manager of Dori Media Distribution, commented: "Amanda O is a unique product in the telenovela genre, because it allows fans to view the series simultaneously across three different platforms. The show’s comical story line draws universal appeal and a very wide audience. We are in the process of negotiating many other deals for Amanda O and the show is going to become available to more viewers worldwide."
