ALL3MEDIA Sells Titles into Japan

LONDON: ALL3MEDIA International has made a number of sales to broadcasters in Japan, on titles such as George Gently, Midsomer Murders and Animal Madhouse.

AXN Mystery picked up the latest episodes of George Gently as well as renewing Midsomer Murders for its tenth season. Discovery Japan went for the factual-entertainment series Animal Madhouse. The series is set for Animal Planet in the region. The blue-chip doc Pompeii: Cellar of Skeletons was bought by NHK. Wow Wow has taken on two seasons of Undercover Boss USA, which aired on CBS.

The deals come alongside ALL3MEDIA’s attendance a the Tokyo International Film Festival’s (TIFF) annual event in Japan. This marks the first time that ALL3MEDIA has attended an organized event in the country.

ALL3MEDIA International’s VP sales, Stephen Driscoll, commented: “We have been building our presence in the region, from the basis of our two primetime detective series and more recently with our documentaries and factual entertainment. With more Undercover Boss and other major U.S.A. factual entertainment in development, we hope to expand our catalogue further into the region over the next few years.”
