CANNES: ALL3MEDIA International has firmed up sales on new episodes of the U.K. youth drama Skins.

The 8×1-hour fifth season of Skins has been picked up by Canada’s Allarco, Hungary’s Humor 1, France’s Canal + and in Poland. Meanwhile, ALL3MEDIA has already scored sales with HBO in Latin America, Globosat in Brazil, Tcast in South Korea, VTM in Belgium and elsewhere.

In addition, ALL3MEDIA is offering the North American version of MTV’s Skins at MIPTV.

The series, which comes from ALL3MEDIA’s subsidiary Company Pictures, centers on the emotions and misadventures of a disparate group of teens, with a cast that changes every two seasons. A 10×1-hour sixth season of Skins has been commissioned by the U.K.’s E4.

John Griffin, the executive producer at Company Pictures, stated: "We are tremendously grateful to ALL3MEDIA International and the overseas supporters of Skins; personally, I am delighted [that] this at times challenging series is appreciated [by] younger audiences from Korea to Canada. It’s quite something to think about when you are filming on the rainy streets of Bristol, England!”
