Alfred Haber Renews Globes, AMA Rights

HARRINGTON PARK, September
29: Alfred Haber Distribution (AHDI) has signed a new distribution deal with
dick clark productions as the exclusive international distributor for the 2009
66th Annual Golden Globe Awards and the 2008 American Music Awards (AMAs).

The three-hour 2009 Golden
Globes, which have been produced for television by dick clark productions in
association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association since 1983, will be
broadcast in the U.S. on NBC. The 2008 AMAs will be broadcast live on ABC on
November 23.

“The Golden Globe Awards
is always a highly anticipated event and we have already seen accelerated
interest in worldwide broadcaster’s desires to acquire this year’s shows,” said
Alfred Haber, the founder of AHDI. “We are honored to again be representing the
American Music Awards internationally, where the special continues to be a
worldwide sensation and is seen in well over 125 territories.”
