AFM Spotlight: Multicom Entertainment Group

SANTA MONICA: The documentary The Go-Go Boys, which Multicom Entertainment Group is presenting to buyers at this year’s AFM, is about Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus, who founded the successful independent film company Cannon Films.

Further highlights include Bereave, a feature film starring Jane Seymour, Malcolm McDowell and Keith Carradine, about a husband and wife coping with old age and the health problems that go along with it. There is also William Kelly’s War, a World War II movie that tells the tale of a heroic sniper who is awarded the Legion of Honor.

“These three new feature films will support our ongoing theatrical-release strategy,” says Irv Holender, Multicom’s chairman.

The company is also promoting its proprietary film and television channels, including IndieMax, BabyBoom, FactFiction, ThrillGore, FamBrand, Streetz TV and Cold War TV.
