A+E’s Sean Cohan, YouTube’s Susanne Daniels Join MIPCOM Lineup

PARIS: A+E Networks’ Sean Cohan, YouTube’s Susanne Daniels and creator and executive producer Adi Hasak have been added to the roster of Media Mastermind Keynote speakers at MIPCOM.

Cohan, the president of international and digital media at A+E Networks, will focus on the need for strong original content, great storytelling, and how to strategically make and exploit that content while at the same time defining and popularizing great brands around it. He will also discuss A+E Networks’ recent launch of 45th & Dean, a multiplatform video and audio storytelling hub and agency. Cohan will be interviewed by Ben Silverman, the founder and CEO of Electus.

Daniels, YouTube’s global head of original content, will take a look at the digital platform and its new slate of original programming made for growing online audiences. She will discuss YouTube’s unique strategy, from highlighting the talents of established YouTube creators to pairing them with leading Hollywood directors and producers who can help bring their visions to life. Daniels will be joined onstage by Kevin Beggs, Lionsgate Television Group’s chairman, to talk about a new partnership with YouTube, as well as filmmaker and Rooster Teeth’s chief creative officer, Burnie Burns.

Hasak is the creator, executive producer and showrunner of USA Network’s Eyewitness and NBC’s Shades of Blue. In his keynote, Hasak will explore the crossover between the film and TV industries, as well as the creative process behind the adaptation of the original Norwegian format on which Eyewitness is based.
