A+E Networks to Commemorate 9/11

NEW YORK: For the tenth anniversary of 9/11, A+E Networks is to air the Emmy Award-winning documentary 102 Minutes That Changed America, as well as other programs commemorating the terrorist attacks, on its networks around the world.

The documentary will be simulcast globally on HISTORY on September 11, and will air in the U.S. across all ten A+E Networks, including A&E Network, Lifetime and BIO, as well as on History.com. The commercial-free simulcast of 102 Minutes That Changed America will be available in more than 150 countries. Prior to the broadcast, the 16-minute film 9/11: Ten Years On will air. It tells the story of the rebuilding of Ground Zero through five heroic people. 9/11: The Days After, Voices from Inside the Towers and Making the 9/11 Memorial will also be broadcast across HISTORY.

BIO in Latin America, Germany, the U.K., Spain/Portugal and HISTORY in Italy have each produced adaptations of the BIO format I Survived… 9/11. Each features first-hand accounts from three native survivors who were in or near the World Trade Center in New York on September 11.
