A+E Networks Sells Lifetime Movies Across EMEA

NEW YORK: A+E Networks has sealed a raft of agreements for Lifetime original movies with broadcasters throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

RTL in Belgium picked up a slate of movies that includes Flowers in the Attic, Petals on the Wind, Sworn to Silence and An Officer and a Murderer. Vox in Germany went for Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy, Flowers in the Attic, The Hunt for the I-5 Killer and Finding Mrs. Claus.

Rai 2 Italy took on A Killer Among Us, Baby Sellers, Clara’s Deadly Secret, Sworn to Silence, The Wrong Woman and Happy Face Killer, among other titles. TV2 Norway  purchased Betty & Coretta, The Bling Ring, A Killer Among Us, Baby Sellers, Clara’s Deadly Secret and Chris Bohjalian’s Secrets of Eden.

Nitro and Neox Spain scooped up up Flowers in the Attic, Petals on the Wind, Liz & Dick, Return to Zero, She Made Them Do It, Happy Face Killer and Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret. Euforia Lifestyle TV in Romania acquired Happy Face Killer, Jodi Picoult’s Salem Falls, A Killer Among Us and The Secret Sex Life of a Single Mom, among other movies.

In Turkey, Digiturk bagged a package that includes Fatal Honeymoon, Romeo Killer: The Chris Porco Story, She Made Them Do It, Trip to Bountiful, Flowers in the Attic and Petals on the Wind. ATV acquired Iris Johansen’s The Killing Game, Baby Sellers and Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy.
