Adult Swim Episodes to Air on Facebook U.K.

LONDON: As of yesterday, Turner Broadcasting UK is offering free episodes from five Adult Swim series on Facebook in the U.K. via Milyoni’s Social Cinema technology.

The shows available to watch on Adult Swim U.K.’s Facebook page are Robot Chicken, Aqua Teen Hungerforce, Metalocalypse, Superjail! and Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!. The episodes can be accessed directly by “liking” the Adult Swim fan page on Facebook.The first episode from each series is free, and there will be nine additional episodes from each series offered on the app, available to rent for 48 hours at a cost of 10 Facebook Credits.

Turner Broadcasting co-created the app with F-commerce provider Milyoni and the digital agency Essence. Milyoni offers VOD and live event streams on Facebook through its Social Cinema technology, which allows Adult Swim viewers to post comments about their favorite shows, utilize Facebook social plugins and participate in online discussions.
