SYDNEY: The live-action kids’ drama My Place, produced by Chapman Pictures and distributed by the Australian Children’s Television Foundation (ACTF), was named the most outstanding children’s program at the 52nd annual TV Week Logie Awards.

My Place, based on the Australian picture book by Nadia Wheatley and Donna Rawlins, depicts the history of one piece of land through the eyes of the children who lived there. My Place traces the growth of a Nation from 1888. Each episode transports viewers back 10 years.

A further 13 episodes of My Place have recently been commissioned by ABC of Australia and will go into production in the second half of 2010.
