ABC TV On Demand to Debut in Germany

MUNICH: The first German ABC TV On Demand rolls out to Vodafone TV customers beginning this month, following the signing of a deal between The Walt Disney Company and the telco.

Germany’s ABC TV On Demand service will be available to all of Vodafone TV’s “Lounge Package” subscribers. On offer will be a selection of ABC Studios’ series, including Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Lost, Criminal Minds and Scrubs.  Entire seasons will be made available to Vodafone TV subscribers.

The new deal also offers immediate access to Disney XD and Playhouse Disney series for Vodafone TV customers who subscribe to its “Kiddies’ Package.” Meanwhile, starting April 7, Vodafone TV subscribers will also have access to a variety of animated and Disney Channel films, such as Tangled, to coincide with the titles’ launch on DVD and Blu-ray.
