MUNICH/CANNES: VT4 in Belgium, SBS6 in the Netherlands and SBS in Denmark are set to produce their own versions of SevenOne International’s My Man Can.

SevenOne’s parent company, RedArrow Entertainment, has already set up a central production hub for the show in Cologne, where it is produced for SAT.1, which launches a second season in May. In Denmark, production will be handled by Snowman Productions.

The show, in which women gamble on their partner’s abilities to complete certain tasks, is also currently airing on Jiang Su Satellite Channel in China and was the country’s most successful foreign entertainment adaptation in 2010.

Henrik Pabst, the director of international format acquisition and regional sales director for Benelux and Scandinavia, said: “This show is a blast! In Germany, My Man Can was one of the most successful shows launched last year. Given its popularity in China and many other countries, we are sure it will delight viewers in the Netherlands, Denmark and Belgium as well.”
