ABC Moves Ugly Betty, Shark Tank

BURBANK: ABC’s Ugly Betty is moving to Wednesday nights beginning January 6, complementing the network’s comedy block, with Shark Tank filling its Friday 9 p.m. slot.

Ugly Betty, based on the Colombian novela, will air Wednesdays at 10 p.m. The move follows the ABC Studios’ production’s ratings troubles in its Friday night position. Shark Tank, the U.S. version of the Dragon’s Den format, executive produced by Mark Burnett, returns to the schedule January 8 at 9 p.m.
