ABC Family Lines Up First Movie Musical

BURBANK: ABC Family is making its foray into the world of music with the movie musical Elixir, which features Jane Seymour, Chelsea Kane and Sara Paxton, among others.

Seymour (Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman) plays Harper, who used to be one of the best dancers on Broadway but left the spotlight because of an injury and now serves as a choreographer for her daughter Mirabella. Paxton (Shark Night 3D) plays Mirabella, who decides to quite her big production to get married instead to Marco (Alexander John, Single Ladies). Kane (Jonas) plays Harper’s younger appearance. The cast also includes Drew Seeley (Another Cinderella Story), Adrienne Bailon (The Cheetah Girls) and Tom Wopat (Broadway’s Chicago).
