ABC Australia Takes BBC Titles

SYDNEY, April 20: BBC Worldwide’s Sydney office has licensed
a slate of drama, entertainment and factual content to ABC in Australia.

ABC TV will premiere
Jennifer Saunder’s new comedy/drama, the 6×50-minute Jam and Jerusalem. Matt Lucas and David Walliams return with Little
Britain
Abroad,
two half-hour specials. The 4×50-minute Jane Eyre is an adaptation of the
Charlotte Bronte classic.

On
the factual front, the deal includes Simon Schama’s The Power of Art and the three-part Lost Cities of
the Ancients, a
BBC/National Geographic Channel U.S./ZDF co-production.

Other
BBC series due to return to ABC TV include Dalziel and Pascoe, Silent Witness and The Catherine
Tate Show.
