Shaftesbury Shores Up Overruled! Deals

TORONTO: Shaftesbury Sales Company has closed new deals in Latin America, Poland, United Arab Emirates and Israel for its teen comedy Overruled!, which has a total of 39 half-hour episodes available.

Shaftesbury arrives at MIPCOM with 13 new episodes of the show’s third season. Season one has sold to Turner in Latin America, ZigZap/Canal+ in Poland, e-junior in UAE and Noga in Israel. “We are delighted to be entering into new partnerships for Overruled! and to bring this entertaining show to audiences in Latin America, Poland, UAE and Israel,” said Shane Kinnear, the VP of sales, marketing and digital media at Shaftesbury Films.

The Family Channel series follows the trials of Jared “Coop” Cooper, a 15-year-old whose cool, fun and articulate traits lead to him become a lawyer in Banting High School’s Teen Court.
