IFTA Collections Appoints New Manager

LOS ANGELES: Tony Aronovitz has been upped to the role of manager for IFTA Collections, supervising all aspects of U.S. and international royalty collections.

His tasks will include customer service and marketing, along with responsibility for maintaining relationships with foreign collection societies. Aronovitz, who has been with IFTA Collections for six years, previously served as a financial analyst.

The Independent Film & Television Alliance (IFTA) is the global trade association of the independent motion picture and television programming industry, and its Collections entity helps these groups collect non-contractual copyright royalties.

“We recognize Tony’s strong knowledge of day-to-day operations and client services in promoting him to run IFTA’s Collections’ activities,” said Jean M. Prewitt, the president and CEO of IFTA. “The group will greatly benefit from his years of experience.”
