PorchLight Promotes Children’s Exec

LOS ANGELES: Shea Fontana has been upped to VP of children’s programming for PorchLight Entertainment, with expanded responsibilities to include the development, production and acquisition of all genres of children’s programming.

Fontana joined PorchLight in 2006, and quickly moved into animation production, working on its slate of animated programming that included The Secret Saturdays, Animalia, Tutentstein and A Tad of Christmas Cheer. She most recently served as manager of children’s programming, with oversight for the development of PorchLight’s preschool and tween series.

"Shea has made a great contribution to our team," said Bruce Johnson, PorchLight’s president and CEO. "She has demonstrated exceptional ability as a creative executive and is now responsible for selling our new programs to networks both here and overseas."
