NBCU Secures Clearances for The Office

UNIVERSAL CITY: NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution has cleared The Office with local broadcast stations representing more than 93 percent of the U.S. ahead of the award-winning sitcom’s fall 2009 off-network syndication launch.

Produced by Reveille, Universal Media Studios and Deedle-Dee Productions, the show has been sold to stations from leading broadcast groups such as Tribune, Sinclair, Gannett, Meredith, Hearst-Argyle, LIN, Local TV and more. Fox Television Stations will air the show on its outlets in top markets such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Washington D.C., Phoenix, Minneapolis, Orlando, Baltimore and Memphis. Additional markets include the CBS Television Stations in Philadelphia, Boston, Seattle, Miami and Pittsburgh. The series has been sold in 50 of the nation’s top 50 markets.
