DOC Lines Up Monday Night Premieres

NASHVILLE: The Documentary Channel (DOC) will present the U.S. premieres of five films this February that focus on men and women working in unorthodox professions in its Primetime Premieres Monday night lineup.

Fit for a King looks at B&K Enterprises, a company that recreates the lavish wardrobe of Elvis Presley, while Women in Boxes spotlights the personal lives of magician assistants. 4 follows four violinists from around the world who perform Vivaldi’s masterpiece. Also focused on music is Everybody Loves The Tinklers, centered on a Baltimore band that plays unusual objects as instruments. After the Storm: Lessons from the Northern Edge is about the dangers surrounding commercial fishing.

At 9 p.m. on February 2, Fit for a King kicks off the month of premieres, followed by Women in Boxes on February 9. 4 and Everybody Loves The Tinklers will air on February 16 at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m., respectively, while After the Storm: Lessons from the Northern Edge will have a February 23 debut.

"Mondays in February promise to be really interesting at The Documentary Channel as we’ve gathered a unique collection of movies which will give viewers an up-close-and-personal look at some of today’s most interesting and unique jobs," said Tom Neff, the CEO and founder of DOC.
