M-Net took on all five seasons of the children’s environment strand Serious…, and GTV acquired the Orange British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA).

Paul Corney, a sales executive at ALL3MEDIA International, commented: "This range of deals is a fantastic indication of the potential for our programming in Africa. We will be looking to increase our reach into this territory in 2009, both by developing existing relationships and seeking out new broadcast partners. Our attendance at DISCOP Africa will provide the perfect opportunity to gain a real insight into the market."
