New Children’s Series in the Works from Beyond

SYDNEY, October 27: Beyond
Productions is producing a new children’s series, Crime Scene Detective, based on the bestselling book of the same
name by Dorling Kindersley.

The series, which features
kids solving real mysteries with a hands-on approach to forensics, has been
presold to SUPER RTL, Seven Network Australia and Television Ontario. The same
three broadcasters were also on board for Beyond’s Backyard Science, which was also based on a Dorling Kindersley
book.

Filming is set to begin
immediately, with delivery slated for mid 2009. Beyond Distribution will be
representing the worldwide rights for the series.

Frank Dietz, the head of
acquisitions and co-productions at SUPER RTL, commented, “SUPER RTL is very
pleased to work with Beyond on Crime
Scene Detective. The show will be great entertainment for our young
audience with a theme compelling to both boys and girls. Our companies have
already established a strong relationship with the global hit show Backyard Science and we are looking
forward to another great success with Crime
Scene Detective.”

added, “Dorling Kindersley produces such high-quality children’s content so it
is very exciting that we are broadening the title for television audiences.

Scene Detective.”
