Win-At-Home Game Set for The Price is Right

LOS ANGELES, October 16:
CBS Mobile has teamed up with FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) to launch an
interactive game for The Price is Right that gives at-home players the chance to call in, guess the price of
prizes and enter sweepstakes.

The ten-week campaign will
offer viewers the chance to win prizes three times a week from their home by
calling into the show using any phone, with no transaction charge.

During the broadcast,
viewers watching the long-running game show will be shown a prize and invited
to call a toll-free number to participate in the “Win-At-Home” game. After
listening to a ten-second promo for the prize, callers will hear three
different MSRP options to guess from. Using the phone keypad, callers then
select one out of three choices they think is closest to the prize’s actual
MSRP. Callers who guess correctly are instantly entered into the sweepstakes to
win that same prize.

“Our new ‘Win-At-Home’
game gives our loyal fans a great opportunity to more fully participate in the Price experience and further defines participation TV,”
said Syd Vinnedge, the executive producer of The Price is Right.

“When you watch The
Price is Right
, you can’t help but
play along in your head,” commented Jeff Sellinger, the executive VP and
general manager of CBS Mobile. “Now viewers will get a chance to play and
potentially win the same type of prizes right from the comfort of their living
room. This is the perfect show for interactivity and we’re excited to help
bring an opportunity for the viewers to play at home and win prizes.”
