Orange Unveils Five New Channels

PARIS, October 9: France Telecom’s Orange service has
unveiled plans for five new channels for its Orange Cinéma Series multiplatform
service, delivering movies and TV shows from a number of the Hollywood studios,
including MGM, as well as from leading French companies.

The portfolio, launching November 13, includes a main
feature film channel, Orange Cinemax, which is available in HD and includes the
best recent films and TV series that have not been seen before in France.
Orange Cinehappy is for family fare, Orange Cinechoc for action programming,
Orange Cinenovo for art-house titles and Orange Cinégéant for classics. These
new channels will be priced at 12 euros per month on TV and PC and 6 euros per
month on mobile.

Content has been sourced from Warner Bros., MGM, HBO,
Gaumont, BAC Films, Wild Side Films and Fidélité Film. The multiplatform service will provide
more than 1,200 films, 1,000 hours of TV series, 200 documentaries and 300
hours of children’s series each year. All programs shown on the five channels
will be accessible on-demand for 30 days after the first broadcast and a range
of films and series will be available on demand.
