Passion Bolsters Catalogue with Rory Bremner Series

LONDON, October 9: Passion Distribution will launch 34
episodes of Vera Productions’ award-winning satirical Channel 4 series Bremner,
Bird & Fortune at MIPCOM.

Passion Distribution, founded earlier this year by Sally
Miles, will launch seasons 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14, showcasing some of the
sharpest and funniest material from the catalogue.

Passion will also be distributing Vera’s new upcoming series
Silly Money. The 4×1-hour show currently
in production for Channel 4 focuses on global money issues.

Miles commented: “I feel privileged for Passion to have this
unique opportunity working with Vera to introduce Bremner, Bird &
Fortune into the international market.
Bremner’s work has tremendous global appeal with subjects that affect us or are
known to us all from the Iraq war, the Royal Family and celebrity sketches
including Simon Cowell and Posh & Becks. I am also very excited by the new
series as money is a major global issue and the stories of how we have reached
this global economic crisis form the greatest whodunit! The subject matter
which has caught all of our attention is a great introduction to the trios
comic genius.”

Vera has also tapped Passion to represent Mark Thomas On
Coca Cola, a Channel 4 Dispatches special. In it, journalist Mark Thomas travels to
South America, India and the U.S. to investigate the way Coca Cola and its
suppliers operate.
