Southern Star Secures Sales

SYDNEY, September 23: The
TV channel Vitaya Belgium has acquired the one-hour lifestyle program Domestic
Blitz and the real-life medical
series RPA from Southern Star
International.

Domestic Blitz is
a lifestyle and renovation series that combines house and garden makeovers with
personal style overhauls for a selection of families. Hosted by construction
guru Scott Cam (Backyard Blitz)
and lifestyle presenter Shelley Craft (The Great Outdoors), the program also features the Hollywood
correspondent Richard Reid.

Domestic Blitz, which will be launched at MIPCOM, and RPA
are both produced by Nine Network Australia.

“Vitaya is very proud of
the acquisition of Domestic Blitz,”
Yvette Mignolet-Henno, of Vitaya, said. “As Belgium’s first lifestyle station
we feel that this series is one we had to get our hands on. It really was an
opportunity we could not pass on. Vitaya has a tradition of series focusing on
either house or garden makeovers, so this is the first time we will have a show
that concentrates on interior design and landscaping. We are convinced that our
Belgian viewers will appreciate this unique combination.”
