Warner Bros., MySpace Launch New Original Series

LOS ANGELES/BURBANK,
September 8: Sorority Forever,
a new original series from McG and the producers of the hit Internet offering Prom
Queen
, has launched on both
TheWB.com and MySpaceTV.

The series is hosted on
its own custom hub on MySpaceTV, with episodes premiering at 9 a.m. every day
starting today. Episodes will also launch on TheWB.com, the Warner Bros.
Television Group’s new ad-supported, VOD personalized network. Sorority
Forever
will appear exclusively on
the two portals for 24 hours and then will become available to TheWB.com’s
broadband distribution partners.

Additionally, MySpace and
Warner Bros. are launching multiple branded channels for a number of properties
from the Warner Bros. Television Group, including The O.C., Smallville, One Tree Hill, Veronica
Mars
, Gillmore Girls and Growing Pains, among others. Content will be refreshed weekly
and users are able to friend individual properties and receive updates from
each channel. Users will also be able to embed videos into personal profiles,
blogs, bulletins and comments sections.

“TheWB.com is a great fit
for the MySpace audience, and we couldn’t be happier to be launching the
original series Sorority Forever
on MySpaceTV at the same time it debuts on TheWB.com,” said Brent Poer, the
general manager of TheWB.com. “Packed with compelling characters, mysterious
storytelling, hip fashion and cool music, Sorority Forever is ready-made for the MySpaceTV audience, and we
look forward to their users sharing the Sorority Forever experience with their friends through the
extensive interactive features found at the Sorority Forever hub.”

“MySpaceTV is the perfect
partner for Sorority Forever
because the combination of this top-quality production and our custom,
interactive Sorority Forever
hub fully showcases the content this demographic is watching with the
technology they are using,” added Jason Kirk, the VP of MySpaceTV. “We’re also
excited to offer the MySpace community episodes from the Warner Bros.
television collection in a way that provides an entertaining and compelling
experience for our users. Users will be able to ‘subscribe’ to the shows they
love in order to get new available episodes delivered right to their MySpace
pages.”
