Caroline Rhea to Host GSN’s Play It Back: Game Show

SANTA MONICA, August 28:
GSN is set to air an original three-part series, hosted by comedian Caroline
Rhea, that looks back at American television’s most popular game shows of the
’70s, ’80s and ’90s.

Play It Back: Game
Shows will feature exclusive
interviews with legendary game-show hosts such as Bob Eubanks, Wink Martindale
and Chuck Woolery. The one-hour specials will air respectively on September 7,
14 and 21 at 7 p.m.

Leading up to the show’s
launch, GSN will telecast a seven-hour marathon of memorable episodes from the
decade’s most-watched game shows, with Rhea providing entertaining insights.
The marathon will feature iconic game shows like The Dating Game, Let’s Make a Deal, Match Game, Card Sharks, The
$25,000 Pyramid, Wheel of
Fortune, Family Feud, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and Press Your Luck. From September 3 to 23, GSN.com users will have
the opportunity to put themselves into a game show from each decade using the
“Play It Back Character Builder” in addition to entering the GSN Retro-Fit
Sweepstakes for a chance to win prizes.
