Cookie Jar Scores Apparel Deal for Caillou

TORONTO, June 11:
Montreal-based T-Shirt Connection has signed on as the Canadian apparel
licensee for Cookie Jar Entertainment’s animated series Caillou.

T-Shirt Connection will
work to create new styles and find new channels of distribution for the Caillou
apparel line, which will be the
first range to be sold in Canada.

Caillou, based on a set of bestselling children’s books,
addresses real problems and conflicts typical to a young child’s development.
The show has been a hit on TELETOON in Canada for the past 11 years, and also
airs on PBS in the U.S., Spain’s TVE and Boomerang, RTP and Boomerang in
Portugal and Super RTL in Germany.

T-Shirt Connection Productions. "Our goal is to create a line of apparel
that will be an expression of Caillou's imaginative character."
