TLC to Premiere The Singing Office

LOS ANGELES, June 4: TLC
is set to debut the new workplace talent series The Singing Office, hosted by Spice Girl Melanie Brown (Mel B.) and
former *NSYNC member Joey Fatone, on June 29 at 9 p.m.

Each week, the hosts will
surprise an office with an impromptu audition in front of the employee’s
coworkers and recruit a team of the five best singers, who will then go through
a preparation boot camp and perform on stage in a choreographed sing-off. The
winners will earn a spot in the finale and a chance to win the $50,000 grand
prize.

Office is an exciting adventure
for these workplaces, and for the viewers,” said Brent Zacky, the VP of
programming at TLC. “It's all about bringing coworkers together in ways that
work can never do. Imagine the boss singing and dancing with the receptionist,
or the delivery driver hitting high notes with the COO. We think this series
will make people think twice about the individuals they work with—do you
really know what hidden talents are in your office?"
