Retirement Living TV Inks New Deals

WASHINGTON, May 20:
Retirement Living TV (RLTV), the first network dedicated to people 55 and
older, has reached new distribution deals with Kansas-based Sunflower Broadband
and Massachusetts-based Atlantic Broadband.

The network’s deal with
independent cable operator Sunflower Broadband marks its first cable presence
in the Midwest, and expands its distribution to more than 26,000 subscribers.

RLTV will launch on
Atlantic Broadband's Aiken, South Carolina, digital lineup in June. Atlantic
Broadband, a privately held provider of digital video, high-speed Internet and
phone service, is ranked the 15th-largest cable operator in the U.S.

On the Atlantic Broadband
agreement, Betsy Brightman, the VP of affiliate relations and distribution at
RLTV, commented: "It's no coincidence that distributors with markets in
the southeast, top retirement destinations, are now stepping forth to carry
RLTV. With this population growing by leaps and bounds it's a natural choice.”

Of the Sunflower Broadband
deal, Brightman added: "People 55-plus are the largest and fastest-growing
demographic and they watch more television than any other age group.
Distributors including Sunflower Broadband are taking note of the value RLTV
can add to their lineup and customers.”
