New Eco Series for Discovery’s Planet Green

SILVER SPRING, May 16:
Planet Green, Discovery Communications’ new 24/7 eco-friendly network, is set
to begin airing the new 13-part environmentally focused series Alter Eco, starring Adrian Grenier of HBO’s Entourage, on June 9 at 9 p.m.

A special sneak preview of
the series will air on Planet Green’s launch night on June 4 at 10 p.m. Alter
Eco will feature Grenier and his
‘Green Team,’ a group of eco-visionaires that includes Boise Thomas, Angela
Lindvall and Darren Moore. The team’s mission is to help a variety of
people—from celebrities to everyday citizens—take small steps to
live more environmentally friendly lifestyles. The series is produced for
Planet Green by GRB/Villians. Grenier will serve as an executive producer
alongside Gary Benz, Peter Glatzer and Michael Branton for GRB/Villians, while
Timothy Kuryak serves as the executive producer for Planet Green.
