New Big Bang-Themed Special for Science Channel

BRISTOL, April 18: Tigress
Productions has been commissioned by Discovery’s Science Channel in the U.S. to
produce João Magueijo’s Big Bang, an hour-long special that examines the paradoxes
of the Big Bang theory.

Cosmologist João
Magueijo presents his new theory on the question of how we got here and how it
all began, with radical ideas that have shocked the scientific community and
threatened to undermine many of the fundamental beliefs in physics. He has been
accused of being an anarchist and a heretic, and in the one-hour special
Magueijo will explain what makes his ideas considered so dangerous.

Channel, with Honor Peters as producer and Chris Holt as director.
