LIVING Picks Up Tiger Aspect Supermodel Show

LONDON, April 11: LIVING
has acquired Tiger Aspect’s Make Me A Supermodel US, a 13-part series that will begin airing on the
channel this summer.

Presented by former
supermodel Niki Taylor and male supermodel Tyson Beckford, the series follows
the modeling baptism of 14 aspiring men and women as they compete for $100,000 and
a modeling contract with New York Model Management, whose roster includes Elle
Macpherson. Each episode, the judges put the three worst-performing models of
that week up for a public vote, leaving viewers to decide who stays and who
goes. Make Me A Supermodel US
is currently airing on Bravo in the U.S. averaging around 1 million viewers per
episode.

The series bulks up
LIVING’s stable of model-themed shows, airing alongside America’s Next Top
Model
and Britain’s Next Top
Model
.

“LIVING truly is the home
of modeling on U.K. television as we know from the success of the Next Top
Model
brands on the channel,” said
Amy Barham, the head of acquisitions for LIVING and Virgin1. “Make Me A
Supermodel
US is a
brand that will sit perfectly in LIVING’s summertime schedule.”

Jamie Munro, Tiger
Aspect’s commercial director and senior VP of international production, added,
"We are very proud of Make Me A Supermodel and its international success and are extremely
happy that this series has found its home on LIVING, a channel that really
champions this genre and subject matter.”
