Defiance Scores Sales to Nat Geo, Fox Reality

WASHINGTON, March 4:
Defiance Entertainment has licensed season three of the travel-adventure series
Amazing Adventures of a Nobody
to National Geographic Channels International (NGCI) and Fox Reality Channel.

The third season begins
production this summer and is slated for delivery by the fourth quarter of
2008. In the series, host Leon Logothetis—who has already traveled across
the U.S. and the U.K. in seasons one and two—is now ready to travel
across Europe, on just 5 euros a day and the help of strangers. This season
will also showcase the beauty of European culture and famous landmarks
including the Eiffel Tower, the Roman Coliseum, the Red Square and more.

Amazing Adventures of
a Nobody
captures the backpacker
spirit that connects so well with our viewers,” said Carlyn Staudt, the VP of
acquisitions for NGCI. “The series has consistently delivered over the past two
seasons and we are pleased to acquire season three for the Nat Geo Adventure
channel and our core channel.”

“The first season was well
received by our viewers, and we are thrilled to have season three of Amazing
Adventures of a Nobody
back on Fox
Reality Channel, the only all-reality, all the time cable and satellite
network,” said Bob Boden, the senior VP of programming, production and
development for Fox Reality Channel. “Our network promises to showcase
innovative and stimulating reality television, and this new season promises to
be just that.”
