Picture Box Shores Up New Deals for Doc Series

TORONTO, September 17:
Picture Box Distribution has sold its documentary series Guinea Pig in several new territories, including the U.S.,
Israel, China, Germany, Thailand, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and French
Canada.

Networks that have secured
the documentary series include the SCI FI Channel in the U.S., Discovery
Germany, Viasat in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe, Noga in Israel, CCTV in
China, True Visions in Thailand and Canal Z in French Canada.

Guinea Pig, which currently airs on Discovery in Canada,
follows daredevil Ryan Stock as he undergoes extreme experiments in the name of
science. There are currently 6×30-minute episodes of the series available and
Frantic Films is producing an additional eight episodes in HD, brining a total
of 14 episodes to be available by early 2008.
