TV Land, Wilhelmina Announce New Supermodel Series

NEW YORK, August 16: TV Land and Wilhelmina Models are
partnering for a new reality series that will scout the country for models aged
35 and over.

The six-part series is
tentatively titled The Next Great Supermodel and is set to premiere in the spring. The executive producer is
Allison Grodner (Big Brother, Blowout). The winner of the reality series competition will
receive a modeling contract with Wilhelmina Models.

"We're so excited to move
forward with this project to give much-needed representation on television to
the beauty of women in their Power Years," stated Larry W. Jones, the
president of TV Land. "It's such a thrill to partner with legendary
modeling agency Wilhelmina in this endeavor. Clearly, we are at a point in
American culture when being 35 and over in the modeling industry no longer
means over the hill, it means big bucks and lots of opportunity."

TV Land and Wilhelmina's Model
Search team has already begun searching for contestants. Auditions will be held
beginning September 29 in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta and Chicago to come up
with 20 finalists who will be housed together in New York as they face a range
of challenges. Eliminations will occur weekly until the ultimate winner is
crowned.
