Univision Sees Revenues Fall, Records Loss

NEW YORK, August 10: For Univision Communications in the
second quarter, revenues fell 7 percent to $562.2 million and the Hispanic
broadcaster recorded a $19.5 million loss, as compared with its profit of
$107.4 million in the year-ago period.

The broadcaster noted, however, that excluding revenues
derived from the FIFA World Cup last year, revenues were up 8.2 percent on the
previous period.

Television revenues were down 11.3 percent to $433.7
million. However, radio revenues grew 12.3 percent to $117.1 million, and
Internet revenues were up 10 percent to $11.4 million.
