VANCOUVER, April 5: Thunderbird Films has wrapped up
production on the third season of its half-hour live-action children’s series Zixx,
for premiere on YTV in Canada in summer
2008.

Zixx has also been
sold to Cartoon Network in the U.S. and the U.K., and is being distributed
internationally by Rainmaker Animation and Echo Bridge Entertainment. The
series is produced by Thunderbird in association with YTV Canada and Rainmaker
Animation, with support from the Shaw Rocket Fund and the Independent

save the universe from evil aliens with the help of her team of human teens.
The stakes are higher this season for the band of young allies—their
enemies are stronger, their challenges greater and their quest more dangerous.

Next Generation)
, as Riley. Other actors
returning to the third season of the show include Reece Thompson (In
the Land of Women
; Rocket Science) as Dwayne and Brenna O’Brien as Meghan.
